We are in 'De Tijd': Testing our software at Tomorrowland was a milestone.

Recently, an article appeared in De Tijd with the headline: Manu De Buck (we are): "Testing software at Tomorrowland was a milestone in our short company journey."

The article was part of the Jong Geweld section, where De Tijd focuses on sharing news about starting and growing companies while putting promising entrepreneurs in the spotlight. This time, it featured Manu, co-founder of we are, 'a Ghent-based software company for SMEs that is rapidly growing without external capital.'

In the article, Manu emphasizes the value of having strong advisors and the energy he draws from his team.

"I get such a kick out of seeing our amazing team go all the way to tackle impossible challenges."

The article also briefly explores how milestones are celebrated within the company and where we are aims to be in  five years.

"We asked ourselves: 'Do we really want to start working for a company right away, or do we first want to see if we can follow that personal drive?' We chose the second one, and over the past two years, we’ve achieved 70% growth year after year without external capital. However, we avoid putting a growth figure or employee number on where we aim to be in 5 years. Instead, we focus on getting better at what our company stands for - commitment, no-nonsense, and quality."
