So, you're wondering why we named our company we are? There's actually a solid reason behind it. And no, it wasn't for SEO purposes, as you might have guessed. But then, why?
Well, it's named after one of our biggest motivations for starting this company.
The time has come. After extensive preparation and research, you've made the decision to start your own business. Your focus is clear, your values are set, and you have concrete goals. But what about the name of your business? That's still up in the air.
So, the brainstorming began. Eventually, we settled on we are. Is it a super practical name? Not always. But it's bold, and it truly represents what we stand for. And if we're being completely honest, maybe the fact that it allows for some fun wordplay had a little influence too.
But of course, there was more to it. When we are was founded, it was with a specific goal in mind. For a long time, we avoided using the term "agency." We noticed that many (though certainly not all) agencies operate as external parties. They receive a project and return with output weeks or even months later. What we missed was close collaboration—truly embracing the "we are in this together" mentality. We wanted to be a technical team that acts as an extension of our client's team. You should be able to call your software partner just as easily as you would a regular colleague.
And that's also where the name we are comes from. We are doing this together. We are striving to fully understand each other and make a genuine effort to involve our clients as much as possible. We are aiming to explain technical terms and decisions. Above all, we want to continuously think along with our clients to make the best choices for each project. So that’s why.
