The rule of thumb remains: if there is no existing software for your problem or idea, or the existing software falls short, it's time for custom software development .
It can sometimes be confusing. If you just need a beautiful website or webshop with all the basic functionalities (like most business websites, just like this one), a website design agency is an ideal choice for you. We care about a good design, but it’s not our core business. we are specializes in engineering and developing more complex software. This can include web applications, but only if they involve a certain level of complexity or serve as a dashboard for the underlying software.
It depends. We know, stupid answer, but it really is true. It depends on the size of the application, the number of features, the type of project… If we had to put a number on it, you can generally expect around 4 months from start to finish (from the initial call to having the full application online, including testing and feedback rounds). After the exploratory conversations, we can provide both a quote and a timeline estimate, so you’ll know what to expect before making any commitments.
That said, flexibility is something we value highly. We’re fortunate to have an amazing team, and it wouldn’t be the first time we manage to make an impossible deadline.
Yes, we don’t deliver and run! We offer a Service Level Agreement (SLA), which is a fixed monthly cost based on the size of your application. The SLA guarantees full maintenance, including security updates, package updates, hosting management, regular checks and uptime monitoring, and 24/7 urgent issue resolution.
Only need a small update? Also possible! We agree on a number of hours and it’s done.
In general, there are two options: a fixed fee or an hourly rate. For both options, we start with an initial meeting. After this, we provide a well-founded price estimate, giving you a minimum and maximum cost range. Once the first workshop is complete, we can offer you a fixed price for your project. Some clients prefer to work at an hourly rate to have more flexibility.
The pricing includes development costs, a project management fee, hosting costs during development, potential licenses, the cost of deploying on iOS or Android for mobile applications and a maintenance contract.
As we said before, flexibility is something we value highly. So variations can always be made.
